PaperPort will not load in Windows 10
Resolution:
The following items must be checked for PaperPort to function normally
1) Incompatable Verison
Only version 14.5 will work within Windows 10. If you are running 14.0 or lower an upgrade must be purchased.
2) Windows Theme
Right Click on Desktop > Personalization > Themes > Theme Settings > Verify Windows High Contrast theme is not selected
3) Compatibilty Mode
Run Regedit and locate each of these keys. There will a registry value on the right with PaprPort.exe.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\AppCompatFlags\Layers
4) Resolution
Change resolution to maximum of 1920 x 1080
5) Custom Scaling Text
Cannot Exceed 150%
Control Panel > Display > set a custom scaling level
6) Clean install of PaperPort
See Attachment of removal process to uninstall and reinstall.
7) Windows User Account
Windows User Account must be clean. If you have issues loading PaperPort try a different user account.
8) Install of PaperPort
In some cases PaperPort will not install using AutoRun.exe. You may have to install each component individually.
